Microsoft DOS version

Flipper is and Extended BASIC version of the popular board game Othello. It is completely keyboard controlled, with each square having a 1 or 2 digit number that the player types in to select where to place their piece. As with Othello, the player places their piece in such a way that they surround the opponents pieces between two of their own, which flips them to the players color. The goal is to take over more of the board than your opponent by the time the board is filled. The game offers 0, 1 or 2 player modes (0 players means the computer plays itself), and different skill levels for any active computer player.

The game was originally sold directly by Colorsoft, and then by Anteco. It was also sold for the Dragon 32 and the Coco in the Uk by Microdeal.
