Major Istar - Under the Doomed Sea is a graphical adventure game, and a fairly difficult one.
Unlike some of the other graphic adventure games done around this time (notably the Mark Data ones), it was not animated... during
the adventure portions. However, it was fairly unique in that it offered several arcade sequences during
the playing of the game as well (the only other one from around this time period that I remember
that also did this was Spectral Associates Syzygy). The game is set in an underwater dome during the
21st century. |
