Eve burst error is set in contemporary Japan. The player controls two characters: a young private detective Kojiroh, and special agent Marina. Kojiroh has struggled to make a living as a solitary private detective, but luck seems to be smiling on him: the headmaster of the Eldian International School, Mr Ko, asks him to find a missing painting, supposedly of great value. Meanwhile, Marina is hired by the ambassador of a fictional Middle Eastern republic, Eldia, to protect his daughter Mayako from terrorists. Switching between Kojiroh and Marina, the player gradually discovers the link between the two cases and delves deeper into a mystery combining political struggles, scientific discoveries and gruesome murders.
The game is a traditional Japanese adventure: the player interacts with the world by choosing the appropriate commands from the menu. |
