Final Fantasy III is a traditional turn-based role-playing game that was popular in the 80s and 90s, but introduced improvements to the genre, such as smarter battle AI. Final Fantasy III is also known for two important milestones in the series' history: The introduction of the cheerful Moogles and the introduction of the profession system, which allows characters to switch professions throughout the game to gain new abilities. |
