It was 7 July 2011. During an investigation into arms trafficking in North Africa, a team of peacekeepers came across a carnivorous species. The creatures proved resistant to conventional attacks. 8 specimens were encountered in a region called "Ground: ALPHA" ... Only 4 of the creatures were contained. The victims of the creatures succumbed to a mysterious flesh-eating virus.
However, this was not a viral infection but a parasitic contamination: worms were found under the skin of the Ground: ALPHA specimens. These parasites, known as "Alpha-worms", lay dozens of eggs in their hosts and produce numerous larvae. These larvae gradually transform their hosts into devouring machines.
Only a modern ninja like Ken Ogawa is capable of countering this plague using his three weapons and various ninjutsus techniques. |
