Outlast 2 introduces Sullivan Knoth and his followers, who have decided to leave our corrupt modern world and hide from it to found Temple Gate, a town lost in the wilderness. Knoth and his followers are preparing for the end of time... and you're right in the middle of it.
You are Blake Langermann, a cameraman working with his wife, Lynn. Together, you have specialised in investigative journalism, and are prepared to risk everything to uncover the stories that no one else dares touch.
You follow a trail of clues, going back to the seemingly impossible murder of a pregnant woman, known only by the generic name of Jane Doe.
The investigation has taken you miles into the Arizonan desert, to a darkness so deep that no one can unravel it, and a corruption so corrupt that tipping over into madness will be the only sensible thing to do. |
