The Spiderwick Chronicles is based on the film of the same name. In this version, the player takes control of siblings Grace, Jared, Simon and Mallory, each with their own strengths and abilities, as well as Thimbletack the Brownie who, thanks to his small size, can explore the small passages of Spiderwick Manor.
The game involves exploring the estate with the characters in a series of quests in search of ordinary items such as garden hoses, solving puzzles, fighting mythical creatures such as trolls and goblins with original weapons unique to each character such as slingshots, baseball bats and vinegar-filled water pistols. The player can also acquire special abilities and regain health by capturing fairies with a fairy net throughout the levels. |
