GFL Championship Football II is an attempt at making a three dimensional version of Football on the Coco 3. Called Football II because of the original,
1980 release of Football, it featured much more sophisticated statistics, etc. by actually keeping track of an entire leagues worth of
teams. The graphics themselves looked a bit too cartoony for my tastes, and I actually found the 3-D view to be distracting; it was easier to play
by ignoring it and just watching the 2-D view on the right side. This game was multiplatform as well, and ported to the Coco two years after the original versions. |
