The player has to group gem blocks of the same colour on numerous levels where gravity applies. Same colour Gems disappear when they're in touch. However, if a single gem of a specific color is left behind, the puzzle becomes impossible to complete. The same is true when 2 or more gems cannot reach each other due to obstructions.
Blocks which get in the way can be destroyed with bombs that move up, down, left and right. The number of bombs is limited. If you make a bad move, you can return to the original starting point by pressing a button. There is a time limit on every level.
The game is deeply strategic in the same manner as a game like Sokoban where the player always needs to consider their next moves. |
